OCTOBER HALF-TERM PROJECT COMPLETE! Last week we were onsite at an Infant School in Derby to install a new blue rubber mulch surface to be laid as a grippy shock absorbent surface. We also fabricated a set of Monkey Bar climbing frame to sit on this surface for the children to play on.

We were asked to provide a outside shelter solution for a local school, for small group outdoor learning and other purposes. The 'quad' area between school buildings was utilised together with timber stanchion's and crossmembers providing a solid frame for a thick polycarbonate roof. Guttering was installed to take rainwater to a local drain. A front fascia was installed along the eaves on one side to provide a bit more shelter from the worst of the elements! We look forward to seeing this getting used and giving the school more creative learning opportunities.

We had a great time on Saturday night celebrating Brett's 50th with him at Derbyshire County Cricket Club. Some amazing costumes but needless to say 1st prize went to our very own Robocop, Chris who made his own Robocop outfit! Happy Birthday Brett!

As our summer school projects draw to a close, the main steel entrance doors at this local academy are nearly complete. We built a double boarded stud wall with infill panels around the new steel doors & frame for additional strength and security. Paxton access control is being installed to securely control access to the site.

What a busy summer we are having, as schools rush to get improvement projects done! One of our projects has just completed; decorating a main corridor and 4 classrooms at an Infants school in Derby. This school is quite old and the walls were in pretty poor condition, but it looks a whole lot better now!
