Braemar HY25 Results   The business performed well in the first half of the year, with the strength of Braemar’s diversification, resilience, and operational scale, built over the last three years, in evidence. Solid growth in the Investment and Risk Advisory segments more than offset a weaker Chartering segment, helping to drive overall Group performance and deliver HY25 revenue 60% higher than HY22 when the strategy was implemented.

Our Specialised Tankers team had a very productive time at this year's European Petrochemical Association conference in Berlin this week, with colleagues flying in from our London, Houston, Dubai and Madrid offices. On Tuesday, 24th September 2024, Braemar hosted a client event in Athens combining a dry bulk market presentation entitled “Today and Tomorrow”  from the Global Head of Dry Research, Derek Langston, and guest speaker Gregory Dolan, CEO of the Methanol Institute, in front of an audience of 70.   By inviting Mr. Dolan from Washington DC to the “Today and Tomorrow” event, Braemar brought a key figure from the marine fuel debate directly to clients of Sale & Purchase and Dry Cargo.   Braemar analyst Ian Metzger. moderated a question and answer session with Mr. Dolan, while Derek Langston’s presentation tackled the question “what is the next twist in the dry bulk market story”.

Furthermore, it was a very good opportunity for the Braemar India team to meet their overseas colleagues including people from Senior Management and connect with them.
