🗞️ Brainomix is helping to support the work of clinicians at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Cambridge, UK, so that more patients can get the right treatment, in the right place, at the right time. “Acute strokes are difficult to diagnose on CT scans. Our radiologists are heart and lung specialists, rather than expert radiologists, so they are not necessarily recognizing all signs of a stroke. This is where the Brainomix systems helps, by analyzing scans using AI algorithms to provide a faster and more accurate diagnosis." - Dr Bobby Agrawal (Consultant Radiologist at Royal Papworth) Read the rest of the article below: ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/ei5brptB #TransformingTreatment #StrokeAI #SimpleImaging

NHS England's National Director for Stroke, Dr David Hargroves, shows how AI technology is transforming the way stroke care is delivered for patients. In this video segment, Brainomix 360 Stroke is used at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust to quickly treat a patient, Sean. ⏰🧠 "The use of artificial intelligence as a decision support software has allowed us to treat people like Sean quicker, and we know that every minute you lose 2 million brain cells, so there's no doubt he's better than he would have been without AI." NHS England's National Clinical Director for Stroke, Dr David Hargroves, talks about how AI systems are helping to speed up the diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients. "The AI software [Brainomix 360 Stroke] can significantly reduce the time it takes to process and interpret brain scans, supporting clinicians to make faster treatment decisions, which in turn enables patients to receive potentially lifesaving treatments such as thrombolysis or mechanical thrombectomy earlier, improving their chances of a better outcome." In our latest case study, we had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Ingrid Kane, a Consultant Stroke Physician at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. Ingrid is a devout cyclist, recently completing the official Tour De France Route (5 days over 900km), raising money for Cure Leukaemia 🚴♀️ Busy clinicians, like Ingrid, need support when it comes to heightened workforce pressures. Tools like Brainomix 360 Stroke can help to ease those burdens, so that when Ingrid is not performing clinical duties, she'll have enough energy to train to do the things she loves. “The Brainomix software, and the mobile app in particular, have really transformed the way I manage my clinical duties, adding a level of flexibility that enables me to work more effectively when I’m on call,” Ingrid noted.
