We're proud to announce that Sysco GB has been awarded Livery of the Year at the 2024 TCS&D (Temperature Controlled Storage & Distribution) Awards. 🏆👏 Our electric vehicle became the first foodservice vehicle to carry the ‘Climate Stripes’ graphic. The Climate Stripes, created by Professor Ed Hawkins at the University of Reading, are designed to show vividly how global average temperatures have risen over nearly two centuries.🌡️ #SyscoGB #ClimateStripes #TCSD24 | TCS&D Magazine

Congratulations to our Central Region sales team for taking on Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon) earlier this week to promote mental health awareness and fundraise for Meals and More! ⛰️👏 By going the extra mile, you are helping the charity in their mission to provide support to children who live with poverty and social isolation throughout the UK during school holiday periods - while at the same time highlighting the importance of addressing mental health in the workplace to our colleague communities. 🤗 There’s still time to show your support by donating here: https://lnkd.in/eHnhgZg6 #WorldMentalHealthDay #SyscoGB #MealsandMore #TeamWork

Take a look at the the latest Cygnet Chef Development Day - supported by our very own Development Chef, Danny Silcock! Thank you for sharing Cygnet, it looked like a fantastic day! 👏
We recently hosted our fifth Cygnet Chef Development Day at the Leeds Cookery School. In this video Marc Tough and Jack Mills from our procurement team talk about the aim of the event and describe some of the fun activities that took place. Co-production is one of the key aspects of the Chef Development Days and we also hear from one of the young people at Cygnet Hospital Sheffield and two of our Experts by Experience, Mia McGowan and Euan Atkinson, who attended the event and got stuck in with the chefs to do some cooking. There are also contributions from our suppliers and partners including Danny Silcock, Development Chef from Brakes UK and Michael Vose, Procurement and Purchasing Specialist at My Purchasing Partner Ltd.
