It’s a busy time with the possible changes to the Employment Rights Bill – especially when we take a moment to consider what might be coming 👀 The new Labour Government plans to ban ‘fire and rehire’ – a practice where companies end contracts and rehire employees on worse terms. This has been controversial, especially during Covid, and is now set to face stricter regulations. If the ban goes through, businesses will need to explore alternatives. That's why we've put this new blog together, alongside Alison King CIPD from Bespoke HR. Here are some other options: 👉 Consulting with employees to agree on changes 👉 Offering voluntary redundancies 👉 Proposing voluntary pay cuts 👉 Phasing in new terms for future hires 👉 Linking new terms to promotions Find out more on our blog here: 🔗 https://ow.ly/RXbI50TGEXS
