Welcome to Planet BrewDog.

About us

Back in 2007, friends James Watt and Martin Dickie from the the North East of Scotland, were bored of the industrially brewed lagers and stuffy ales that dominated the UK market. They decided the best way to fix this undesirable predicament was to brew their own beers. Consequently, BrewDog was born. Two men, one dog & a mission to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are is how it all started. 16 years later - +3000 crew mates globally. 4 state of the art breweries - Ellon, Columbus, Berlin & Brisbane. +100 bars. 220,000 Equity Punks. The UK's fastest growing brand and the top craft beer brand in the world. The mission remains. But this is only the beginning.

It’s Monday. It’s grey mostly everywhere in the UK. The sun is setting about 16:30. But if you’re a Manchester United fan, these are the least of your worries today. Because once again, another manager has bitten the dust… and once again, your club is back to square one.    You could say that, for the red half of Manchester, their team currently feels like a… Lost cause.    The good news is we’ve got just the beer for that feeling.    That's why our Manchester bars are offering any Man United season ticket holder who comes in between now and Wednesday a free pint of Lost.    Let’s face it, they deserve it. We're just doing our bit.

    • A photo of a football fan in a red top, with a pint of Lost lager. Text onscreen reads MAN UNITED FAN? FEELING A LITTLE… LOST? WE'VE GOT THE PERFECT FREE PINT FOR THAT.

Hey, you. Are you in charge of this year's Christmas party? Or know who is and need to subtly steer them in the right direction? We've got you.   We can’t promise you won’t end up telling all your embarrassing secrets to your brand-new colleague, or screaming the words to Mariah Carey with that random person from finance, but we CAN promise a party with delicious beers, cocktails, and festive food galore in alllllll of our bars. How does that sound?    This is a proper Christmas party. The Christmas party your work deserves.

Your reminder that the brewers on our Pilot Kit (where we make our small batch beers) are LEGENDS. We’ve just released two new beers. One hot. One hazy. Both ridiculously delicious. (Also, a moment for the can designs, please.) 🔥 HOT SMOKE: An 8.5% smoky chilli imperial milk stout, brewed with Mexican haberno chillies and smoked barley for a heat that builds with every sip, tamed by malted oats for a super smooth delivery. (This one is also an exclusive to our UK website, just FYI) ☀️ NANODOG #0023 – 7.3% DDH HAZY DIPA: A tropical hoppy symphony of a beer. Think ripe mango and candied berries, perfectly complemented by zesty citrus and stone fruit flavours. (Available from our UK website and selected BrewDog bars)

5 WAYS TO CONVINCE YOUR BOSS TO MOVE THAT FRIDAY MEETING TO THE PUB 1. A change of scenery can boost productivity. Just don’t mention the scenery is the walls of your local. 2. Set the meeting location as the pub AFTER they’ve accepted the invite. Trapped. 3. Suggest you walk and talk. 'Accidentally' walk to the bar. 4. Pitch it as a networking event. Bonus points if you have business cards and practice your handshake. 5. Claim you watched a webinar that said it would boost productivity by X%. Nobody is going to argue with the webinar.
