If you are currently being affected by the ongoing issues related to a recent software update from CrowdStrike, we recommend trying the workaround below. • Boot Windows into Safe Mode or the Windows Recovery Environment. • Navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike directory. • Locate the file matching “C-00000291*.sys” and delete it. • Boot the host normally. It is believed CrowdStrike and Microsoft engineers are working to address the issue and will publish a global fix in due course.
