I’m so grateful and excited to have the opportunity to play my 5th Paralympics in Paris 2024. I’ve been involved in 4 Paralympic final matches in my career, Which im incredibly proud of. This is my Everest. Please get behind me and my team mates ❤️💪🙌 we are stronger together! Ready 🙌 Wates Group

What a morning 🏃♀️ 🌤 After more than six months of planning, we finally launched Queen’s Park Juniors with an incredible turnout of 94 kids -42 of whom completed their first ever parkrun 🤩 Big thanks to Tim Holtam for his persistence and dedication in making this happen and for assembling such a dynamic core team. The ward of Queen’s Park is home to the Tarner area, the most deprived and disadvantaged neighbourhood in Brighton and Hove. It’s also where our six year old goes to primary school, so it was a no brainier when Tim asked if I wanted to be involved. parkrun is one of the best examples of a global movement that enhances health and wellbeing through social interaction and community cohesion. I’m especially proud of my two kids for coming down and giving it a go. parkrun’s mission is to create a healthier, happier planet by ensuring that parkrun events remain free, forever and for everyone. Bly is a phenomenon of sporting achievement. Earlier this year she secured her place as number four in world rankings and qualified for the Paralympic Games this August (2024) in Paris. Yes she’s still only 14! 🏓   Bly shared her motivations behind joining our #DreamTeam: “I am delighted to be an Ambassador for Dreams Come True. The charity supports many children with many different conditions, including cerebral palsy. I truly believe my dreams have come true through table tennis - competing in the Paralympics is all I’ve been dreaming of since I started playing sport and now that is going to happen in August. 💜🧡 Exciting announcement! 💜🧡    We are delighted to welcome two new fantastic Ambassadors to the Dreams Come True team – para table tennis superstars William Bayley MBE and Bly Twomey: https://lnkd.in/eNhJqSBZ   Will Bayley MBE world and European champion is ranked world number one and Bly Twomey, 14, who has, at time of writing, already won five gold medals! Both Will and Bly have qualified to represent our country at the Paris Paralympics in August this year. 🏓   We cannot wait to follow their progress at the #Paralympics later this year and beyond.
