Some key facts from British Business Bank & Beauhurst's Equity Tracker for 2024: ⭐️ Government funds supported 59% of all announced equity deals in Scotland. In comparison, local and national government funds supported 14% of all announced equity deals across the UK in 2023. ⭐️ Scottish businesses saw a 50% decline in investment value in 2023, along with a 21% drop in deal numbers compared to the previous year. In comparison, the average UK regional decline of investment value in 2023 was 40.5% and a 21.75% decline in deal numbers compared to the previous year. ⭐️ Out of the 39 Unicorns in the UK, 1 is based in Scotland (BrewDog). 32 out of 39 Unicorns are based where?
