Welcome to Season 2 of the Interchange podcast. Our guest today is Paul Toyne who is Head of Sustainability (Group) at Grimshaw and recently has been elected to the Board of The British Aviation Group (BAG). BAG Board Elections 2024 - Call for Nominations We are approaching the time for Elections to the Board of the British Aviation Group, and I would like to invite nominations for candidates from across the membership. The BAG Board sets the strategy and works with the BAG Secretariat to drive BAG activities forward, ensuring that BAG represents and serves the requirements of its members. Participation on the Board offers a unique opportunity to help promote the interests of the membership and wider supply chain – whilst providing tremendous scope for professional and personal development. A rolling programme of elections is used so that approximately a third of the Board is subject to election each year. As a consequence, there are six places open for election this year. The British Aviation Group is committed to being a diverse and inclusive organisation, which reflects the communities and society in which we serve. We will champion inclusion and embed best practice in all we do, sharing learning and knowledge with our members. We will demonstrate inclusive leadership and work with our members to promote exemplary levels of diversity and inclusion, safeguarding BAG and the aviation industry into the future. This supports our overall Purpose and Vision of Promoting UK Aviation - To increase aviation market share and reputation of BAG members across the UK and overseas as part of an inclusive and sustainable UK aviation sector. We encourage members to consider this in nomination of candidates and the voting that follows. For more information and how to nominate please click here: https://bit.ly/3zrkfBf
