The GAA season kicked off last month in the UAE, with Brogan-sponsored Rak Ropairi GAA taking it on head first. The club, who Brogan Group have sponsored since 2016, started the season by competing in the 2024/25 AICC MECB Football League at Dubai 7’s. The men’s intermediate team showed their strength, playing fiercely throughout the evening and securing a solid win in game 3. One of Brogan Group’s Advanced Scaffolders, Luke McCarthy, has been awarded Operative of the Month at the UK’s largest 100% electric office development based in the London borough of Westminster. Luke McCarthy was presented the award after the main contractor recognised him for his quality and professionalism on site to complete access works to a high and safe standard. Brogan Group has been awarded a combined access package for a large residential scheme in Northwest Dublin, Ireland. Numerous Brogan goods only and passenger / goods hoists will be found on site in addition to full independent access scaffolding on the 6 new mixed-use blocks reaching 14 storeys high. Brogan Group Ireland has led health and safety talks and demonstrations across Irish sites, in support of the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) annual Construction Safety Campaign. This years theme 'Focus on Critical Risk', encourages contractors to identify and and mitigate risks. To visualise the importance of wearing the appropriate PPE, Brogan's SHEQ Advisor, Steven McCaul, conducted ‘stop the drop’ demonstrations showcasing the difference a hard hat makes when objects are dropped onto melons and pumpkins.
