Marriott set for ‘milestone’ 200-bed Teesside hotel “To have Marriott coming on board in the heart of Middlesbrough is a vote of confidence in what we all want to achieve.” International hotel operator Marriott International is in talks to launch a new hotel in Middlesbrough, in what Tees Valley mayor Ben Houchen is describing as a “big milestone” and a “huge boost to our ambitions” for the town. 🌟Can you believe it’s been four weeks since the incredible 2024 Buccleuch Property Challenge took place! On Friday 6th September we witnessed an unbelievable day at Drumlanrig Castle & Country Estate as over 240 participants came together for the 16th annual Buccleuch Property Challenge, conquering a range of fitness activities across land and water. 🚣♀️ From paddle boarding, cycling, orienteering to running, this event showcased the incredible determination and teamwork of our participants. 🌟 Proud Partners in an Incredible Charity Event! 🌟 On 6th September 2024, BlueSky Experiences had the privilege of helping to run the Buccleuch Property Challenge at the stunning Drumlanrig Castle. With 76 teams taking on the longest course in the event’s 19-year history, the day was packed with excitement and adventure! From mountain biking and orienteering to paddle boarding and a Highland Games challenge, the participants pushed their limits across 52km of gorgeous terrain. Huge congratulations to the Percy Plodders, who not only completed the course in an impressive 5 hours, 54 minutes, and 15 seconds. The event has raised over £11,000 for Chris’s House, a vital suicide awareness charity. A massive thank you to Itago Media for capturing the day and to Drumlanrig Castle for being the perfect venue once again. We’re so proud to have been part of such an important and inspiring event and can’t wait for next year!
