National trade body, the BMF (Builders Merchants Federation) has welcomed a £2bn boost for affordable housing announced by Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves. Following the Spring Statement, the BMF set out the work already undertaken to secure a pipeline of products and people needed to deliver on government targets for construction projects.
