About us

BulliesOut provides anti-bullying help, support and information to individuals, schools, youth settings and the workplace. We believe that learning is the foundation for life and can help raise confidence, self-esteem and motivate young people to achieve their aspirations and career choice. We recognise that barriers to learning, such as bullying, can prevent people from recognising and achieving their full potential. Our vision is for all young people to recognise their self-worth and potential and to flourish in a positive, caring environment free from oppression and abuse. By ensuring that children and young people understand what constitutes as bullying and are equipped with the skills, confidence and self-esteem to report bullying incidents, we can improve their emotional health and well-being. Long term, this will positively impact on their ability to form positive relationships and improve their subsequent life chances.

📣 Proudly founded in 2006, BulliesOut is a passionate anti-bullying charity on a mission! 🎗️ We've touched thousands of lives through counselling, education & training in schools, youth groups, communities, and workplaces. 🤝 Offering interactive workshops, our focus is on awareness, prevention, empathy building, and fostering positive relationships - vital ingredients for a nurturing environment. 🌟 We define bullying as a wilful, conscious act to hurt or control, threatening or scaring someone repeatedly and unwantedly. Our vision? To empower and inspire children, young people and adults to overcome bullying behaviour, recognise their self-worth and achieve their full potential. 🌍 Our values? Ambition, community, empowerment, excellence and integrity - striving to deal with bullying, inspire change, and deliver unparalleled service. 🚀 The children and young people we work with are brimming with potential - they're our future change-makers, and we're here to amplify their voices against bullying and foster integrity within communities. #antibullying #empowerment #speakoutagainstbullying#chooserespect #dontbeabystander

🤔Why me? There isn’t always a straightforward answer to bullying behaviour. Many people who are experiencing bullying blame themselves and feel like it’s their fault – but it’s not. 💔No one deserves to be bullied, and no one has the right to make someone else feel bad. The reasons behind bullying behaviour are just that – reasons, not excuses. Bullying is cruel, humiliating, and causes deep pain for those affected. It’s important to report it so those impacted can get the support they need. 📅In November, we’ll be marking Anti-Bullying Week, and this year’s theme is Choose Respect. Respect is the foundation of healthy relationships, whether in schools, workplaces, or communities. So instead of people asking ‘Why me?’ we can challenge bullying behaviour and create a world where everyone feels safe and respected. 🔗Learn more about Anti-Bullying Week 11-15th November ➡️https://lnkd.in/gsNJau-u #notobullying #stopbullying #mentalhealthmatters #standuptobullying #bullyingcharity #kindnessmatters
