Our Streetscene Team has been working hard to tackle fly-tipping, including removing vehicles that are involved in fly-tipping from the streets. If you fly-tip in Burnley, you run the risk of having your vehicle seized and crushed. The vehicle in this video was witnessed fly-tipping on Woodplumpton Road in Burnley. As a result, Officers from the Streetscene Team & Lancashire Police traced the vehicle and seized it. The vehicle was deemed to be unroadworthy, had no tax or valid MOT and the owner failed to provide the appropriate documents within 15 days, forfeiting their rights to the vehicle. You can find more on fly-tipping and how to report it here: https://lnkd.in/e_X3zbzW You can also see the register of waste carriers, brokers and dealers on the Government website here: https://lnkd.in/dh5Ny2F
