Another insightful Kingston Chamber of Commerce event curated to facilitate a discussion on our capacity to change...which sounded quite daunting to our Marketing Strategist Bernice Choo, but what she learnt is that by making minor tweaks where it matters, we reap the benefits of effective change. There was also an inspiring talk by Hilary Briggs, a gold medal winning GB triathalon champion, and big thanks to Melanie Roberts for sharing the plumbing analogy regarding optimising efficiency through the workflow. Fantastic to get the team together yesterday for our first Clan Gathering since the summer hols. We made the most of everyone being in the office to have a photoshoot to refresh our website pics plus we enjoyed a very tasty working lunch of pizza, plus birthday cake for Charles Ketteman and Michelle Tauro who both celebrate birthdays this month, and a token of our appreciation was awarded to our star of the month, Alana Graham, for her dedication and hard work in the HR team. This #InternationalDayOfCharity we celebrate the powerful impact that Jigsaw4u, and thousands of other incredible charities, are making worldwide, driving positive change and transforming lives. “Thank God for you guys [Jigsaw4u], without you I would have been left on the street”. On top of Jigsaw4u's specialist therapeutic support for service-users experiencing complex social and emotional difficulties, they also offer supplemental group activities which aim to reduce isolation, increase social networks and broaden horizons. They offer various workshops and special opportunities like one-off or annual trips through their hugely popular Activities4u service where they ensure that children, young people and families are fed with a meal and refreshments at each and every event. #charity #charityday #childrenscharity
