It's official... the signs have gone up!   With BV Dairy being a family-owned business, we were thrilled to announce earlier this year that we have become a part of the First Milk family. We are so proud of our partnership with FareShare South West. With our shared commitment of supporting our community, reducing food waste and minimising our impact on the environment, BV Dairy and FareShare are a perfect fit! Since we started collaborating in August this year, BV Dairy has donated 2.7 tonnes of surplus food which has helped produce a whopping 6100 meals for people in need, contributed to reducing CO2 emissions by 5.6 tonnes and supported 130 charities across the region. Now that's not half bad! Fairshare is a UK-based charity that redistributes surplus food to charities that turn it into meals, helping tackle hunger and food waste. They work with food businesses, redistributing surplus food to frontline charities and community groups. This provides meals to vulnerable people while preventing food from going to waste.
