CA Group were delighted to be able to donate 4 spare laptops to Evenwood Community Action at Wellgarth in July, and even more pleased to hear that these have been put to good use. https://lnkd.in/e_6fWnd3 Evenwood Community Action organise trips for local children, provide meals for the needy, offer training course from the hub (for which the laptops will be useful) as well as running coffee mornings and drop-in's. Our Ian Lambert and Emma McCutcheon have been pleased to be able to support this worthwhile enterprise.

Recycling has gone Crazy. Andrew Marshall PgD MMT and Mark Gunston reclaimed carpet tiles and timber when the CA Group offices were refurbished, and put them to innovative use – a 9 hole crazy golf course to add some fun to the wedding celebration of Mr & Mrs Marshall (junior). This ingenious use of materials demonstrates what can be achieved with a little forward thinking and effort. Saving the planet one putt at a time! Well done Andrew and Mark.

CA Group were honoured to take part in the MUIR CONSTRUCTION LIMITED Pro-Am Golf Day this week. Members of our Contracting and Development team headed north of the border to take part in the event, Team CA were partnered by professional golfer Gavin Hay for the 18 hole tournament at Deer Park Golf Club, the day turned out to be a success as Team CA managed to pull off a narrow margin victory to be crowned champions for the Tuesday morning competition, we headed back in the clubhouse with a respectful score of -14 (14 under par) and narrowly won the event by 1 shot. It was great to see all of the supply chain partners of Muir Construction at the event, we would like to thank our valued client Muir Construction for hosting such a well organised event and we look forward to defending our title next year.
