We are completely client orientated and only send the right people to meetings to avoid time wasting. Where appropriate, we will bring to your attention any commercial sales or development opportunities that we hear of. The decisions we make, particularly in the early stages when planning engineering strategies are critical to the planning process, project budget, programme, site environment, project risk profile and overall deliverability. Our Directors and Engineers are very sensitive to commercial client pressures and will work towards alleviating those unique and sometimes bespoke pressures by prioritising specific aspects and regularly feeding back information and communicating with our clients to provide surety and comfort throughout the project. We will always communicate openly to ensure we understand those priorities as they might not always be obvious. We understand that one approach does not fit all, and it is imperative that we exercise our construction industry acumen to best effect. Very proud to announce that the Cambria Consulting Ltd Charity Partner for 2025 has been selected as Tŷ Hafan. They provide essential and compassionate end of life care for children in their Penarth hospice. There is a shortage of beds, a shortage of funding and a shortage of time. What there is not a shortage of, is absolutely incredible people putting in all sorts of hours and effort to make the whole thing more bearable for the families, but you can never have too many volunteers, and we're all in! We'll be helping support their own organised events (e.g. Welsh Three Peaks, Golf Days, Fire Walking and loads more), all 2025 Cambria events will donate all proceeds to the cause, we'll be sending our staff to work in either their hospice or one of their shops and most exciting of all, we've musicians and thespians all ready for the pantomime! HUGE thank you to the brilliant Alison Brown and the irrepressible Paul Fears for supporting our launch event and ensuring everyone understood exactly what is needed and how they can help! To all our Cambria friends, colleagues, customers and service providers, we would all be super appreciative if you could support our effort over the coming year to reach a minimum of £16,000 - the amount required to run the hospice for a single day! 🥲

To quote Lewis Williams...looks like I’m back to where I belong. Huge month for the Civils gang taking the top 3 spots. It is slowly turning into a repeat of last year, for those that don’t know – I won. Be nice to have the trophy upstairs again, it’s been a while! At last week’s ‘Free Lunch Friday’, the Cambria team got together with a delicious New York Deli to celebrate the end of Movember, as a number of us have been bravely growing out dodgy facial hair in aid of Prostate Cancer UK and men’s mental health awareness. We have to say, everybody taking part put in a good showing but the 2024 Movember winner has to be Sandro, who was able to grow a very respectable ‘tache over the last four weeks! The Cambria Civils Team are immensely proud to see the Ysgol Gymraeg Gwynllyw 3G Pitch development completed. We were involved in modelling large earthworks haul, challenging pedestrian and vehicle accesses, and SAB-compliant drainage designs. We were thrilled to help transform this old redgra hockey pitch into a 3G rugby and football pitch, benefitting the wider community. #ConstructionWales #StructuralEngineering
