The first eight of 30 new or improved bus routes in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough will launch next month These upgrades are based on previous feedback from the community about what they need from services, and will: 🎒 Help students get to places of study 💼 Help people get to places of work 🩺 Give new connections to hospitals and our towns and cities. Funded by the Combined Authority through the Mayoral precept on council tax, the routes aim to make buses work better for people's needs. Highlights include: ✅ New connections to Peterborough City Hospital and Addenbrooke’s Hospital ✅ Upgraded services supporting employees at Amazon and McCain Foods in Peterborough ✅ Improved service between St Neots, Cambourne and Cambridge to help students getting to and from local colleges. And yes, the Tiger pass, offering £1 fares for under 25s, can be used! 🐯 More new or improved services will be launched later in the year.
