And that's a wrap! The Campden Instruments team is now all back across the pond after an incredible time at #SfN2024! We want to thank all of our customers, both old and new, for stopping by our booth! And of course thank you Society for Neuroscience for putting on a great meeting! We loved being able to show off our newly engineered 9000smz vibrating microtome and all of the new features it has! If you haven't done so already, make sure to register your interest in it, so when we officially launch, you can be the first to know! Register here: https://ow.ly/Ojb850TKMHJ

We all have a part to play this #WorldMentalHealthDay. The 2024 theme for Mental Health Day is 'Mental Health at Work'. We spoke with Associate Professor Jess Nithianantharajah, who leads The Florey's Synapse Biology and Cognition Group, on the key role of neuroscience in helping us better understand complex mental health conditions and create a more inclusive society – including in the workplace. "Advancing our knowledge and understanding of the biology of mental health conditions is critical for shifting the stigma on what it really means to have a mental health condition.” Associate Professor Nithianantharajah is Head of the Florey Department of Neuroscience and Mental Health at University of Melbourne. 🔗 Read our full interview: https://lnkd.in/gjSezcYt #TheFlorey One in Five #MentalHealthDay Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences

Last week, Campden Instruments was represented by our partner Hong Kong Plexon Inc, at the 17th annual Chinese Neuroscience Society conference in Suzhou, China! On display were our second generation Bussey-Saksida Touch Screen Chambers! Did you know that they can easily be modified to be usable with tethered animals?! Therefore, you can easily upgrade the behavioural tests you perform in your optogenetic or in vivo e-phys experiments! Want to learn more? Make sure to visit our booth at the upcoming #SfN2024 conference in Chicago. Or better yet, book a meeting with our sales team to learn more! https://lnkd.in/eUbqvf7T
