According to Diversity of Boards of Directors and Senior Management of Federal Distributing Corporations – 2023 annual report from: Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada | Innovation, Sciences et Développement économique Canada In 2023, the percentage of distributing corporations with at least one woman on the board of directors (from 57% in 2022) and those with at least one member of a visible minority (from 23% in 2022) increased. Representation of Indigenous people and those with disabilities has remained unchanged. However, there’s a clear gap regarding Indigenous and disabled representation on these boards. Both areas have stagnated, reminding us that while we’re seeing progress in some spaces, true inclusion still requires bold steps forward across the board. #CandidateX #Diversity #BoardMembers
