International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women and girls, but it is also a time of contemplation, learning and unity. Each year, we are privileged to welcome guests into our headquarters who can inspire and teach us. Last week in the UK, colleagues were invited to watch a powerful film on gender equality from our friends at LAMMAS PARK, followed by a unique opportunity to put questions to its award-winning director Jade Ang Jackman, actor Ayesha Hussein and Executive Producer Mia Powell. Colleagues in the Netherlands welcomed expert in female leadership, Esther Mollema to host an important and though-provoking discussion on inclusion and everyone’s role in achieving it. We are so thankful to everyone who gave their time in organising, hosting and attending these important events in support of rights, equality and empowerment for all women and girls.

International Women's Day is here and to celebrate we're featuring three women in Canon who shared stories about their careers, lives and what this day means to them. Today, we're featuring Joke Adedeji, who applies her creativity and community-first approach to her work as Salesforce Enablement & Adoption Lead. Her background and work may appear opposite, but when you hear her speak, it all comes together. #IWD2025

Have you ever heard the word 'karakuri'? It's a concept which is over a thousand years old, but today it mostly known as a type of intentional and clear-thinking design, which applies natural mechanical forces to solve problems. Our colleagues at Canon Bretagne have been using karakuri manufacturing since 2023 and it is not only the perfect fit for their processes, but also their values.
