We attended the Connected Places Summit in London yesterday, hosted by the Connected Places Catapult. The event focused on the role of innovation in helping to drive local and regional economic growth, featuring discussions around energy networks, transport systems and cities, digital technologies and new ways of doing business 💡 Our Chief Executive, kellie beirne, spoke at the panel: “How can the UK’s cities and regions help kickstart the economy?” The discussion explored the role of innovation in boosting economic growth, creating new jobs, and unlocking prosperity across our cities and transport systems. In the afternoon, we showcased our region in a “Spotlight on South East Wales”, joined by CCR’s Public Service Innovation Manager Owen Wilce, plus Claudette Forbes - Connected Places Catapult, Louise Harris - Tramshed Tech, and Robert Jamieson - PPL. We were pleased to be part of an event which connects people, places and businesses for a future of sustainable growth and prosperity 📈 #CardiffCapitalRegion #ConnectedPlaces

Prynhawn heddiw, gwnaethom arddangos ein rhanbarth mewn sesiwn “Bwrw Goleuni ar Dde-ddwyrain Cymru”, yr ymunwyd ag ef gan Reolwr Arloesi Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus Prifddinas-Ranbarth Caerdydd, Owen Wilce, ynghyd ag Claudette Forbes - Connected Places Catapult, Louise Harris - Tramshed Tech, ac Robert Jamieson - PPL.
