  • Throughout this season, at each and every home game, we have been celebrating ‘A Hero Among Us’ at half-time but this time we did it a little differently. The likes of Gareth Davies and Speakeasy Club have been recognised previously but when we heard about the fast actions and bravery of Jae Morris at our recent United Rugby Championship victory over Ulster, we wanted to do something special. Jae and his mum Jodie have recently become Season Members at the club but they were unable to enjoy our comeback win over Ulster after Jodie lost consciousness in the build up to the big game. Nine-year-old Jae, acted quickly, finding the supporters that sit next to him in the South Stand and alerting them. Thankfully Mum got the treatment she needed from St John's Ambulance and made a full recovery but what a game to miss! Therefore we were delighted to welcome Jae back to CAP for our recent Welsh derby against Dragons and he led the team out for another fantastic victory. Da iawn Jae! If you think you know someone deserving of this award - whether a long-serving kit man, a fundraising extraordinaire or someone who battles adversity every day, please feel free to nominate them by completing the form here: https://lnkd.in/exyA3SJC

  • A session from newly appointed Wales head coach Matt Sherratt was the highlight as Cardiff Rugby kicked off the year with their first Business Club Networking Event.    Held in the LLANDAFF LAMINATES LIMITED Sky Lounge, partners and members came together for an exclusive morning of insight, great food and even better company.   Guests had the unique opportunity to watch the team train ahead of the BKT United Rugby Championship fixture against the Hollywoodbets Sharks, all while enjoying a fantastic buffet prepared by our in-house chefs, featuring pastries, breakfast rolls, fresh fruit, and a selection of savoury dishes.    The event opened with a welcome from our new Commercial Director, Jack Butler, followed by a talk on the inspiring impact of our Community Foundation.    Attendees then had the chance to chat and mingle with players, including Mason Grady, Corey Domachowski and Liam Belcher, adding a personal touch to the occasion.   The morning ended on a high with Sherratt, who will lead Wales in the remainder of the Six Nations, sharing exclusive insights into Cardiff’s strategy, upcoming fixtures, and long-term development. A huge thank you to PureCyber Limited for sponsoring the event and helping make it a fantastic success! 📩 Interested in attending future events? Contact us at hospitality@cardiffrugby.wales. 🔜 Next up: Matrix Gym Launch – Wednesday, March 19th

  • Cardiff Rugby is proud to announce the installation of sanitary bins in all male toilets at the Cardiff Arms Park. This initiative, which is undertaken in partnership with Pyramid Hygiene and supported by Prostate Cancer UK, is aimed at supporting male incontinence, an often-overlooked and taboo health challenge. With 3-6 million people in the UK experiencing some degree of urinary incontinence, this is the latest initiative to make the iconic Arms Park a more inclusive and supportive environment for all visitors. Male incontinence, which can affect men of all ages but is more common in those over 40 or recovering from prostate cancer treatments, is often shrouded in stigma. Cardiff Rugby aims to break this taboo by providing facilities that ensure comfort and dignity for everyone attending matches and events. Diolch Pyramid Hygiene & Prostate Cancer UK

Wow, what an amazing turnout at our Mini's Clubs Day sponsored by Floodlighting and Electrical! More than 2,500 extra tickets sold and issued to community clubs, and 1,600 children from nearly 30 clubs parading the iconic Arms Park at half-time. It's just another example of our Community Foundation's brilliant work, using the power of rugby to inspire, engage and improve opportunities for all. Hopefully many memories were made as we celebrated our community clubs. Check out our Facebook gallery to see if you can spot your club or rugby-mad youngster!
