Meet Philippos Papavlasopoulos , our sales trainer. Like many of carpo’s team members, Philippos is a prime example of professional growth and advancement within the company. An Athens native, Philippos first joined the company on Monday, May 18, 2015. “A date I am never going to forget!” as he says! He started working in customer service at carpo Kolonaki in the centre of Athens and the next year, he became a barista. By 2017 he was promoted to swift supervisor and in 2018 to store manager. Four years later, in 2022 the company sent him to Dubai to share his valuable knowledge and expertise with his colleagues in the Middle East. In the same year, he accepted the offer of becoming carpo’s sales trainer in the Middle East.  In either roles and posts he has worked in, Philippos always finds a point of strong connection and meaning in his day-to-day: “I really enjoy interacting with people, and through customer service, I always try to find a common thread to connect with the person in front of me. As a trainer, I aim to convey my love for carpo and everything I’ve learned along the way in the best possible way.'" 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗼 - 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗼𝘂, 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 “carpo’s dynamic work environment, which combines a family business atmosphere with a strong international profile, made me really want to be involved with the company.” It was carpo’s elegant approach toward creating a unique experience around nuts and dried fruit that caught Dora's attention a few years ago. On top of that, carpo’s dynamic work environment, which combines a family business atmosphere with a strong international profile, made her really want to be involved with the company. When she joined carpo about four years ago, she immediately felt like she always belonged here. “The warm atmosphere and the family-like environment made me feel like a part of the team from day one!” Today, Dora is in charge of the implementation and supervision of carpo’s compliance with international standards for Quality Management and Food Safety Systems. Besides that, she is involved in the company's strategic plans.  Although her day-to-day duties involves several technical aspects, what she enjoys most about her job is her relationship with her  colleagues. “My favorite part of the job is the communication with my partners and the constant challenges we face and overcome daily.” Her aspiration is to help create and develop an integrated Quality and R&D department.
