🌟 Empowering Highlights from the M:Powered Women International Women's Day Event! 🌟 Our Litigation Support team attended the third annual M:Powered Women International Women's Day event, a celebration dedicated to honoring the achievements and aspirations of women from all walks of life. This year's event featured the inspiring Dame Kelly Holmes, who engaged in a fireside chat with Kizzy Augustin, Partner at Mishcon de Reya LLP.   Tiffany Maynard, our Digital Marketing Executive, said "An incredible day celebrating International Women's Day at Mischon De Reya! We were fortunate to hear from Dame Kelly Holmes, whose powerful story of overcoming adversity in both the military and as an Olympian was nothing short of inspiring. Her journey of resilience, both mental and physical, and her courage in embracing her authentic self as an LGBTQ individual reminded us all of the strength found in community and truth. We also heard from an amazing panel with Tinuke Awe, Jaci Barnett, RTTP, and Katie Rose, who highlighted the importance of balance for women juggling career ambitions with family life, and the growing responsibility of companies to create workspaces that support this. The Case Pilots development team recently attended the Microsoft AI Tour in London, a dynamic event designed to explore how AI can drive growth and create lasting value across industries.  Our team had the opportunity to engage in informative workshops and keynote sessions that highlighted innovative ways for us to continue our integration of Microsoft AI solutions into our workflows. We are proud to have been able to assist the Class Representative Mark McLaren and his legal team Scott+Scott UK in securing a £37.25 million settlement with WWL/EUKOR and “K” Line, as approved by the Competition Appeal Tribunal last week. This is a major win for over 17 million consumers and businesses impacted by a cartel between five major shipping companies and represents the biggest settlement our collective redress regime has seen to date!   At Case Pilots we take great pride in our role as claims administrator and are honored to be on the front line of UK class action developments hitting the headlines. The latest settlements in this case not only hold to account those involved in illegal price-fixing activity, but also reinforce the importance of legal action in protecting consumer rights and ensuring fair practices.
