📣 Expanding Access and Inclusivity at Cast Youth Theatre 📣 With the generous support of One Call Insurance Services Limited  Cast Youth Theatre has broadened its reach and enriched its programs, breaking down barriers and fostering inclusivity within our Theatre community. 🌍💙 Increasing Access: One Call’s support has enabled nine new bursary placements and the addition of an Access Support Worker. This ensures young people with additional needs in our Bright Lights group (ages 14-16) can fully participate and thrive in a creative environment. Building a Diverse Community: Now, 160 young people are part of Cast Youth Theatre, including 31 who identify as deaf or disabled and 20 from non-white backgrounds. Thanks to One Call’s support, Cast Youth Theatre is a welcoming, inclusive space for all young voices. 🎭✨ “The Cast youth theatre team have been an absolute godsend to my family. A little more than a year later and people who meet [my child] would never know that they suffer from anxiety. They are now so confident in themselves, [they are] a bubbly and happy child. 🎭 Empowering Communities Through Theatre: Cast's Community Ambassadors 🎭 Our new initiative is all about breaking down barriers to make theatre more accessible for first-time attendees, particularly those facing significant challenges due to COVID-19 or the cost of living. Our Public Acts programme has led us to meet our three brilliant Community Ambassadors  Mike, Ondy, and Ruth who have already lead 14 theatre visits, welcoming 357 audience members to Cast in the past 6 months.
