Good News! The UN Emissions Gap report found that progress has been made since the Paris Agreement in 2015 on greenhouse gas emissions ("GGE"). The projected increase in GGE by 2030 was forecasted to be 16%, and is now expected to increase 3%. However, 2030 greenhouse gas emissions still must fall by 28% for the Paris Agreement 2°C pathway and 42% for the 1.5°C pathway. Without the global supply chain being transformed, Paris Agreement targets will unlikely be achieved.
