About us
Cathelco safeguards your fleet by managing biofouling, ensuring corrosion protection, and generating freshwater Our offering: Ultrasonic Antifouling - Cathelco's DragGone™ Ultrasonic Antifouling system utilizes patented ultrasonic technology to prevent biofouling, such as barnacles and algae, on ship hulls. This eco-friendly solution enhances fuel efficiency and reduces operational costs by minimizing hydrodynamic drag, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional antifouling methods. Marine growth prevention systems (MGPS) - protecting engine cooling system pipework against blockages caused by barnacles and mussels. The systems are widely used on commercial vessels, naval craft and luxury yachts. In the offshore oil industry, they protect pipework connected to seawater lift pumps. ICCP corrosion protection systems - used to protect the hulls of ships and offshore platforms against corrosion. Reverse Osmosis Desalinators - providing fresh water for commercial vessels and luxury yachts. Cathelco has a global service and agent network providing sales and technical support for our entire product range.

Is it bad that we haven’t mentally left Port Adriano yet? I mean, who could blame us—sunshine, sailing, and Mallorca? Tough combo to beat. Maybe sharing some “postcards” from the regatta will help us snap out of it... or just keep the daydream going a little longer. 😏 Thanks Oyster Yachts for having us! #oysterpalmaregatta #oysterregatta #cathelco

Touchdown at Port Adriano with Oyster Yachts for the Palma Regatta! ⛵ We’re thrilled to be here, soaking in the sun and excitement of the regatta alongside the iconic Oyster Yachts. Yesterday, we had an exclusive 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐎 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬, where Fred Matysek, head of sales at HEM (and 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘴*) explained the technology with a few unexpected analogies that, interestingly enough, involved toilet paper and oranges 🍊🧻 *This will make sense when you watch the recording 😉 There’s plenty more to come with 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 and a packed schedule. We’ll be visiting some of the yachts, assisting crews with their water makers, and handing out refreshments as the official beverage sponsor—all leading up to the final prize at the gala event🏆 We’re hoping for good sailing weather to keep the excitement going. Tag along for all the action! ⚓
