About us
We provide supported accommodation to vulnerable and homeless Young People as we aim to break the cycle by nurturing them to become independent. Our vision is to support vulnerable people, especially Young People, to achieve and sustain independent living through safe and secure accommodation, with a view to ending homelessness. We take an asset-based approach, avoiding judgement and seeing Young People in our care for their potential, identifying and uncovering attributes to prepare them for independence.

Great being able to spend the day with the CAYSH team today as part of their annual staff development day. Some numbers to think about. 56,000 households are in nightly paid accommodation. That costs the UK £732M. 136,000 young people are homeless with many sofa surfing. Society needs to do more to address these massive problems in the country.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of leading a conversation at the CAYSH staff conference. Not on my usual area of expertise, but an area of transition, Artifical Intelligence. AI is growing at such a rapid rate, policies around usage, biases and over-dependence are quickly outpaced. For as many positive gains made through its use, there are equally many negatives. 🌟 Partner Spotlight: CAYSH 🌟 CAYSH is a charity that has been supporting vulnerable and homeless young people in London and beyond since 1981. Focused on helping those aged 16-25, CAYSH offer a range of services, including providing safe homes, support and advice, all designed to help young people achieve their full potential. CAYSH work in partnership with local authorities to strengthen communities and provide essential resources to those in need. The charity’s mission is to provide safe homes and brighter futures, empowering vulnerable young people with the skills and confidence to live independently and break the cycle of homelessness. CAYSH are partners of Andrews Charitable Trust and we’re proud to assist them on their mission to improve the lives of young people in need. CAYSH support 3 of our [establish] houses in Sutton and Croydon, providing 9 young people with a place to call home and the opportunity to learn key life skills.
