The CEIC Wales team thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Social Value in Business conference last week at the Principality Stadium. Thank you to Blake Morgan LLP, Principality Building Society and The Office of the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales for inviting us to be a part of this. At the conference we aimed to explore the role Welsh businesses can play in shaping a more sustainable and equitable future for business and for society - and lead the way in achieving the goals of Wales' Well-being of Future Generations Act. In the morning we heard from Derek Walker, the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales about the importance of businesses taking up the goals of the Well-being of Future Generations Act. The Future Gen team launched a toolkit for businesses last week which you can find here ➡ https://lnkd.in/ensqgFg4 We enjoyed helping to facilitate table discussions on how businesses can implement #socialvalue while addressing the seven Well-being goals of the Well-being of Future Generations Act. The afternoon was packed with panel discussions and case studies. We heard from the next generation of leaders Kim Mamhende, Dan Tram and Richard Hughes who are graduates of the Future Gen Leadership Academy. Thanks for this great and inspiring day! Well done everyone! #SVIB24 #SocialValue
