📣 THRIVING PLACES AND THE WELLBEING ECONOMY IN ACTION 📣 Last month we released the data for the #ThrivingPlacesIndex 2024 along with a webinar providing insights on the data, as well as stories of change around the UK. We have a recording and transcript of the webinar (see first comment below) – please have a watch and share with others who might be interested. The stories of change are part of the Wellbeing Economy in Action report that was released at the same time as the TPI data, and has been supported by Triodos Bank and Carnegie UK. About us
Centre for Thriving Places was founded in 2010 as the Happy City Initiative, with the aim of shifting the focus of economies from consumption based growth to the wellbeing of people, place and planet. The vision is being achieved with the help of our internationally recognised evidence-based measurement tools - the Thriving Places Index and the Happiness Pulse. We work with local authorities and organisations to help them develop practical pathways for measuring, understanding and improve economic wellbeing.
