At CGL Gutters we manufacture and supply Membrane Lined Gutters, Rainwater Outlets and Downpipes for gravity fed drainage and our single stack full bore Rainpulse system.
If you have a project and need assistance with specification or rainwater capacity estimates then speak to us. Our patented Rainpulse system can improve the capacity of traditional straight drop systems – if you are interested then we can assist with calculations. Our gutters are manufactured in standard 3m lengths, however up to 6 meters can be manufactured upon request. All Gutters come with overlapping joints – saving on joints and time at site. We have now adjusted our processes so that we can deploy Rockwool Insulation in our units in place of PIR alternatives for use on projects where fire risk is a concern.
We operate alongside CGL Facades who produce Rainscreen Cladding Systems and trade as part of Merson Group who supply Architectural Metalwork and Signage Systems.
Gutters: What are the benefits of using a membraned lined gutter?
1. Leak Prevention: Membrane-lined gutters provide a waterproof barrier that helps prevent leaks and water infiltration in warehouse structures. This protection can safeguard the building's interior from water damage and maintain a dry and safe environment.
2. Extended Lifespan: By adding a membrane lining to the gutters, the system is more resistant to corrosion, rust, and wear caused by water exposure. This prolongs the lifespan of the gutter system, reducing the need for frequent repairs or replacements.
3. Easy Maintenance: Membrane-lined gutters are relatively low maintenance, as the lining helps prevent debris buildup and clogging. This ease of maintenance can save time and resources by reducing the frequency of gutter cleaning and associated maintenance tasks.

🍫 How did you spend your easter break?
Here at CGL we like to help others.
Our colleagues Technical Manager Craig Wilson (MIoR)(BEng) & Department Supervisor Paul Bray, took to the streets of Glasgow on Sunday in their motorbikes, to join another 864 bike riders in this year’s incredibly popular Glasgow Easter Egg Run 2024.
A superb charity event, well organised in aid of Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
For more than four decades, thousands of families have enjoyed this incredible event where hundreds of bikers ride through the streets of Glasgow in a mile-long convoy of colour, noise, and smiles from Glasgow Green to Braehead Shopping Centre via the Royal Hospital for Children in support of our young patients.
Craig & Paul were joined by their families and friends to support the cause.
Teamwork makes the dreamwork! 👏

📢 BIG NEWS!!!
CGL Systems, a leading provider of innovative Rainwater, Rainscreen and Roofing solutions, are thrilled to announce the launch of RyCote, the game-changing metal roof coating system.
This revolutionary product is set to transform the way we approach metal roof refurbishment, offering a one-coat solution that is both efficient and durable. RyCote utilizes the groundbreaking two-dimensional material called Graphene, which was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2010 for its remarkable properties.
This cold-applied liquid technology harnesses the power of Graphene to provide unparalleled protection and longevity to metal roofs.
This innovative coating system can be applied in just one coat, saving valuable time and resources. Unlike traditional roof coatings that require multiple layers, RyCote ensures a streamlined process for metal roof refurbishment.
In addition to its efficiency, RyCote boasts exceptional durability. With a 25-year warranty aligned with Rynna-line for dilapidation works, this metal roof coating system provides unparalleled protection against the elements. Whether it's heavy rain, strong winds, or extreme temperatures, RyCote is designed to withstand the harshest conditions, ensuring the longevity and integrity of your metal roof.
Furthermore, CGL Systems offers two variations of RyCote to cater to different refurbishment needs.
Rycote EP is available for Cut Edge Protection, providing an extra layer of defence for vulnerable areas.
Rycote RC, on the other hand, is designed for full roof coatings, offering comprehensive protection for the entire roof area.

CGL Systems Rynna-line Gutter Refurbishment Solution: Protecting Your Industrial Gutters.
Industrial gutters are essential components of buildings, tasked with efficiently channelling rainwater away from the structure. However, over time, these gutters can begin to deteriorate and corrode, leading to potential damage and replacement. That is where our Rynna-line Gutter Refurbishment Solution comes into play.
Recently our team had the privilege of working alongside RMLFS Ltd on a full site refurbishment project, which included 100lm of Rynna-line gutter refurbishment.
