Supporting employers to become better allies to the LGBTQIA+ community. Lee@heartsandmindschange.com
About us
"35% of employees are afraid to come out at work.” Changing Hearts & Minds Consulting Ltd (CHAM) empowers employers to become more LGBTQIA+ friendly and inclusive. Our goal at CHAM is to cultivate allies for ALL minority groups, with a strong focus on supporting the LGBTQIA+ communities. We actively contribute to LGBTQIA+ charities and provide complimentary employability workshops to their beneficiaries. CHAM offers organisations comprehensive services, including policy reviews, ED&I statements, recruitment support, training, webinars, public speaking and panel events. The benefits to businesses include: - Increased applications from LGBTQIA+ individuals - Enhanced connections with LGBTQIA+ talent - Heightened productivity as employees bring their authentic selves to work - A more diverse and inclusive workforce, leading to faster problem-solving and heightened creativity - Reduced attrition The impact of our work extends beyond the workplace. Your employees will educate their families on being allies and fostering inclusive environments in local neighbourhoods and communities. Our activism is underpinned by kindness and compassion. We call in by engaging and educating rather than calling out and criticising, our training sessions are always a safe space for all attendees. This year, we are actively seeking more Community Voices to join us. For further information, please email lee@heartsandmindschange.com

Anyone else remember BAGA awards? How does Queer representation impact societal norms?
Many Queer people will remember being told: don't do this, boys do it or don't do this it is for girls. I am no exception: as a boy I loved gymnastics and dancing. I was discouraged from doing both. My proud mother would stitch my gymnastic BAGA badges to my shorts and I felt great until I realised I had made myself open to more ridicule and bullying. The only boy doing gymnastics at school, I gave up. It was easier to accept societal norms than challenge them. Shout out to all Queer people who I did it anyway and did not give up. Seeing Queer representation is incredibly important, and the Olympics demonstrate how things are changing with many Queer athletes. Young Queer people everywhere have positive role models on their TVs. #Queer #RoleModels #representationMatters #inclusion #inspiring #olympics

Our Founder moves back into the corporate world but CHAM will continue
Let's talk about Ally ship |Equity, Diversity & Inclusion | Corporate Social Responsibilities | Diverse Recruitment | Inclusive Management Coaching | Lean Practitioner | Continuous Improvement
The last supper was on Wednesday after a 5-day break, signifying the end of one cycle and the start of another. I am leaving the charity sector, and I will always be grateful for the opportunity to support so many incredible humans in changing their journeys over the last four years. To those who judge people, you should work on that. To all the young care leavers, people who are homeless, people living on the streets, people with a conviction, suffering from mental ill-health, or a minority, underrepresented community, keep striving for equality. My business, @Changing Hearts & Minds Consulting Ltd, will continue. I am thrilled to announce that Sass (Sarah) Gatefield 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️ ♀️ ✊🏿 🇵🇸 🇺🇦 🌳 ❤️ 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️ ♀️ ✊🏿 🇵🇸 🇺🇦 🌳 ❤️, one of the Community Voices, has been appointed Content Creator at Changing Hearts and Minds. She was previously a Podcast Producer, Videographer, and Video Editor. Ori Da Silva 🌈 might be taking on the role of Finance Director to complete the applications to make us a social enterprise. The Community Voices will remain in place to help me ensure inclusive workplaces and the creation of allies. With 20% of profits donated to a charity (of choice) Out with the old and in with the new! #newJobOnMonday #NewStart #CorporateWorld #Allies #Allyship Changing Hearts & Minds Consulting Ltd

You still have time to vote. Gen Zs , the baby boomers are all out voting
Faiza Shaheen just got my vote. Labour gave her the boot a few weeks ago for being too outspoken for Kier so she is standing herself, independent MP. This is a Tory constituency through and through. Let’s hope for change tomorrow.

When started my side hustle just over a year ago, I never imagined Amazon asking me to deliver a speech on being authentic at work and of social mobility. I spoke of my lived experiences, some ED&I folk only have what they learnt in their studies. I was even allowed to wear high heals. It’s not just me that enjoyed it, feedback below from a Senior Manager. I have availability next week to deliver a webinar to you organisation. If interested DM me.
