This shift indicates a growing focus on supporting communities around international office locations, possibly influenced by the increasingly global nature of workforces and numerous global crises. CECP's "Giving in Numbers" report also highlights a significant increase in the number of corporations appointing dedicated CSR/philanthropy positions, indicating a shift towards incorporating social responsibility into overall business strategy. This is advantageous for fundraising, as increased transparency regarding philanthropic interests makes it easier to identify mission alignment for potential funding opportunities.
