Charlotte Rowe Garden Design

Founded by Charlotte Rowe and now led by Tomoko Kawauchi, design director, Charlotte Rowe Garden Design is an award-winning studio established in London in 2004. Since then, the studio has completed over 300 landscape and garden design projects for clients in the UK and overseas. A number of these gardens are small town gardens and roof terraces where the design is in the detail, as well as more traditional large-scale country gardens and landscapes. We begin our approach by working collaboratively with the client to creatively interpret their taste, aesthetic, and their practical needs. Our studio is built on a blend of cultures and collegiate approach. The studio offers a full garden design service for clients that includes landscape design, construction management, planting and garden styling. In 2014 Charlotte Rowe won a Gold medal for ‘No Man’s Land’, the ABF Soldiers’ Charity garden to mark the centenary of the outbreak of World War One at RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Charlotte Rowe and Tomoko Kawauchi are fully accredited members of the Society of Garden Designers and Charlotte Rowe Garden Design is an SGD practice member.
