  • ♻️ Exploring the Circular Economy with Countrystyle Recycling This week, Lauren Bovingdon CEnv MIEMA and Rebekah Davis from the Chartway ESG & Sustainability team had the pleasure of touring Countrystyle’s waste recycling facilities in Kent — and what an incredible insight into the circular economy it was! From sorting and processing general mixed waste into Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) to recycling plasterboard and timber, Countrystyle’s approach to waste management is both impressive and sustainable: ✅ RDF powers over 20,000 homes in Sittingbourne ✅ Recycled timber and pallets are converted into biomass fuel ✅ Recovered gypsum from plasterboard is reused by Knauff A big thank you to the Countrystyle team for the tour and the valuable discussions on data capture and reducing our carbon footprint. We’re excited to keep working together toward a more sustainable future!🌍 #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #GreenBuilding #MissionZero2031
