Introducing Alex Smith. Alex is a Regional Support Chef for State Schools and a recent (very worthy) winner of our internal employee recognition scheme, Be A Star. As his Manager Ken Tee aptly explained: “Alex is an exceptional member of the team, always going the extra mile and always making a difference." #ChefAppreciationWeek2024

This is Dawn Baker. Dawn is a Head Chef in our Higher Education Business. Not only is she one of Chartwells' Lead Ambassadors for the Women in Food network, but she has also made the next cohort of the Marcus Wareing Programme. Keep being fantastic, Dawn. #ChefAppreciationWeek2024

Kicking off #ChefAppreciationWeek2024 we're celebrating Malcolm Wood and Jimmy Edgar from St Faith's School. Both Malcolm and Jimmy are quite the heroes in Cambridge. Not only are they food waste warriors with their delicious broccoli kimchi (made from trimmings and stalks) but they cook lunch for local families during the school holidays too.
