We would like to applaud all that worked on Poor Things and give our congratulations on all the Bafta awards received including best VFX! We're incredibly proud of our VFX supervisors Benjamin Perrott and Jon van Hoey Smith and our compositing team who completed around 100 VFX shots on this remarkable film. It's never easy to blend seamless VFX into shots that were captured on various film stocks, through multiple beautiful lenses, all whilst keeping within the specific style and vision of the director Yorgos Lanthimos and DOP Robbie Ryan, but I think our team succeeded beyond expectation. The whole film is a wonderful example of the collaboration of filmmaking across every single department. None of this went back out to film without being overseen by the excellent VFX editor James Panting! And Finally we would like to give our very special thanks to the brilliant Post Production Supervisor Deborah Harding for involving us in this wonderful film. About us
We provide in house 2D compositing teams for visual effects on feature films. Using primarily Nuke software, we set up experienced compositors who can handle a wide variety of shots working closely with the VFX supervisor, Director and Editorial department.
