BTOG is a charitable organisation that represents all healthcare professional treating thoracic cancer. With a membership of over 3000 people, it focuses on education, research and representation across the country. Tom says: "It is a huge honour to be appointed Chair of BTOG. BTOG has driven improvement in lung cancer care in the UK, and I am immensely proud of our achievements. Congratulations to Cess, Head of Apprenticeships and Paoline, Apprenticeship Programme Delivery Manager, who have both been shortlisted in the National Apprenticeship Guide Awards 2025, after more than 700 nominations were received in the awards. Last Sunday, TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing star Angela Rippon CBE, along with her Strictly dance partner Kai Widdrington, visited Chelsea and Westminster Hospital as part of ‘Let’s Dance!’, a new campaign to get the nation fit and help the NHS. The ‘Let’s Dance!’ initiative, founded by Rippon, aims to inspire people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to embrace dance as a way of improving their health, connect with others and have fun. During their visit, Angela and Kai joined a special dance class in our CW+ Studio, bringing joy and energy to outpatients, staff, volunteers, and members of the local community. The session was organised by our CW+ charity's Arts for All Team, which works to enhance patient and staff experiences through arts, music, and creative activities. Over the weekend, the team at 56 Dean Street one of our award-winning sexual health services, attended National Student Pride at the University of Westminster. #NationalStudentPride is the UK’s largest LGBTQ+ student event opening the floor for dialogue and debates, networking, career opportunities, and prestigious awards. The 56 DS team offered confidential #SexualHealth advice and resources as well as condoms and PrEP to all attendees 👏

A huge congratulations to Cormack Mylchreest who won the MyPorter Award in the Newcomer of the Year Category this week.
