When young #orphans leave the orphanage, many have no one to guide or support them. At our dormitory, they enter a life-changing 2-3 year program that includes health and hygiene 🧼, substance abuse prevention 🚫, literacy and numeracy education 📚, and planning for independent living 🏡. Our 3 dedicated social workers live with them, providing educational, emotional, and spiritual support ❤️. Our partners continue to support these young adults even after they leave the dormitory, ensuring they always have someone to rely on. Through our partner Family Love, we recently supported a family in need. We arranged for an electrician to reinstall electricity safely for the children, bringing light back into their homes. Additionally, we provided essential food supplies and hay for the family goats to continue providing the much-needed milk for the family. But perhaps one of the most touching moments was when we provided a wardrobe for the girls. The gratitude and joy in their eyes illuminated the room.
