Three years after joining the Group as a Consumer Insight Planner for Havana Club, Minna relocated to London to work with our Strategy, Insight and Effectiveness teams, where she now leads initiatives for Ballantine's and Royal Salute. Happy 5 years Minna! Celebrating an incredible ten years is Joyce – as well as a decade of excellence, she was also promoted earlier this year to Creative Planning Lead in the Culture & Creative team. We're rounding out the month with an extraordinary milestone for Robert Young, who marks 50 years at Chivas Brothers this year. As a self-proclaimed ‘man behind the camera’, we’re honoured to share a small snapshot into his last 50 years of service. Reflecting on his career, he fondly remembers meeting his wife at Chivas Brothers and the joy of watching the company evolve over the years. When asked for advice to newcomers, he encourages taking pride in one’s work and making the most of the employee benefits available. He embodies our ethos by emphasising the strong sense of community and lifelong friendships forged within our organisation. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling and passionately following his favourite football teams. Today we announced a partnership with Sotheby's to bring highly aged, rare, never-before-released whiskies to Sotheby’s collectors. The inaugural lot is an exclusive release of The Glenlivet 55 Year Old, 200th Year Anniversary Edition, 1 of 1, an ultra-rare single malt aged for 55 years, presented in a custom decanter embellished with precious peridot gemstones sitting in a stunning sculpture crafted with emerald quartzite and 24 carat gold by computational architect Michael Hansmeyer. The lot will be available for auction from 22nd October 2024 to 5th November 2024 in Sotheby’s London sale of Finest & Rarest Whisky with all proceeds benefitting the National Trust for Scotland, dedicated to conserving Scotland’s natural and cultural heritage. #ChivasBrothers

Our September spotlight shines on Linda, David, Clair, Nick, Katy and Laetitia! In 1984, Linda Duncan (following in her father’s footsteps) and David joined the Chivas Brothers team. Forty years later, we couldn’t be prouder of their remarkable careers. Both have become instrumental members of our manufacturing and production teams and are much-loved across the business.
