We are delighted to announce that Dr. Maria Gebbels, PhD has been appointed as CHME Vice-Chair. Maria is an Associate Professor in Hospitality at the University of Greenwich and has served on the Council for Hospitality Management Education Executive Committee as the Treasurer. Maria will play a critical role in delivering CHME's core purpose and strategic vision. We are thrilled to have Maria as our Vice-Chair. New Chair Announcement📢 The Council for Hospitality Management Education (CHME) is excited to announce that Dr Alisha Ali, Associate Professor in Hospitality and Tourism at Sheffield Hallam University, has been appointed as the Chair of CHME. CHME Executive Committee* would like to thank the outgoing Chair, prof. Una McMahon-Beattie, from Ulster University, for her visionary strategy, exceptional leadership, and dedication to advancing hospitality management education, teaching, and research. CHME is a leading organisation which lobbies government bodies and external organisations to strengthen and develop hospitality management education.
