Celebrating 25 years 🎉🎂 We loved being able to celebrate our 25th anniversary with everyone last week - both in the office and remotely. As for any birthday there was of course a lot of cake and food - but we also mixed this with a company-wide town hall sharing updates across the departments and looking back on memories and the journey we've had over the past 25 years. There were plenty of stories and staff shout-outs (with embarrassing photos to support). We're a service-driven organisation, so it really is all down to our people. Thank you to everyone that is part of Chorus and has been a part of our journey over the years. Here's to many more stories, successes and cake! #25years #EnjoytheJourney #Culture

We are thrilled to be finalists in the CRN UK Women and Diversity in the Channel Awards 2024! This is a really special one for us, as we have a strong focus on Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) as we are striving to encourage more women in tech. A few ways that we have focused on it this year have included: 🏫 Local school talks in both primary and secondary schools about working in tech and the importance (and exciting possibilities!) of more girls choosing STEM subjects 📢 Putting more time into writing content, articles and videos around women in tech, the importance of diversity and also across wider ED&I pillars 👩 Role models - putting ourselves outside our comfort zones through talks, interviews and media to highlight female role models in the tech/cyber industry 📖 Continuing to benefit and learn from being part of the Bristol Women in Business Charter - which we highly recommend for local organisations! 🌟 Internal initiatives across ED&I and wellbeing, such as new benefits, management training, regular company updates - resulting in 4.5 out of 5 for company-wide employee engagement in our latest bi-annual staff survey! So, being finalists in such a prestigious awards in our industry for a cause we greatly care about is a very proud moment. We are very much looking forward to celebrating on the night next Thursday with all the other incredible finalists and inspirations in our industry! 🍾🥂 #WomeninChannel #EDI #WomeninTech

October is Black History Month in the UK and we are proud to be celebrating at Chorus.   Black History month gives us the opportunity to celebrate, support and understand the importance and impact of black heritage and culture on our society. The theme this year is "Reclaiming Narratives" which is especially important as black stories are often overlooked or even distorted.   At Chorus, we want to use this month to focus on education – sharing powerful black stories and giving a platform for people to share their experiences, so we can all gain insights into what people have experienced or still do today.
