📢 Important information about postal voting ✉️ The way you apply for a postal vote has changed. Due to new government legislation, voters must now renew their postal vote every three years. This means that postal voters who applied before 31 October 2023 must re-apply for their postal vote by 31 January 2026. We are contacting electors by email because re-applying online is the quickest, most cost effective, and reliable way to make your application. Please help us by responding to our correspondence as soon as you can. Emails will only be sent from our official electoral services email address: electoral.services@york.gov.uk You can apply to vote by post, renew your postal vote, or download and return an application form online at https://lnkd.in/e2vDgeDK If you have not provided us with your email address, you will receive correspondence later in the year. Please be assured that if you do not wish to make a new application online or download an application form, you will automatically be sent a paper form later in the year.
