Just returned from an incredible experience at AACRAO SEM! 🎉 It was fantastic to connect with my colleagues Sarah DeMeo and Jordan Mickey, learn from other outstanding leaders, and attend so many insightful sessions. A couple of sessions really stood out to me: 🔹 Dr. Anthony Abraham Jack's plenary sharing research on how underrepresented students engage differently with campus resources, classes, extracurriculars, and jobs. His insights were eye-opening, and it’s clear that understanding these dynamics is key to creating more inclusive and supportive environments for all students. 🔹 Dr. Allison Hoffman's session on operationalizing a student success plan through data-informed insights. Her approach to integrating data into student support strategies was both practical and inspiring. It's a reminder of the power of data in shaping meaningful outcomes. So grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with such amazing professionals.
