The DC Chapter of the Clarivate Volunteer Network conducted a watershed clean-up on the Four Mile Run trail in Alexandria, VA for the Four Mile Run Conservatory Foundation, where they gathered 166 pounds of trash, including a shopping cart and a scooter that had been left among the trees! Clarivate offers 40 hours of paid volunteer time, and colleagues at our Bangalore office used some of that time at Charlie’s Animal Rescue Centre, or CARE, where they learned about the rescue’s mission and even helped bathe some of the rescue dogs! An integral part of the Clarivate Volunteer Network is providing mentoring to students from historically underserved communities like refugees, women studying tech, and those who are the first in their families to attend college in partnership with the Global Mentorship Initiative (GMI).
