To mark Baby Loss Awareness Week, we would like to take this time to remind colleagues and families who have been impacted by baby loss that we see you and you are not alone. Throughout the week, our Working Parents and Carers Network have shared reminders of specialist internal and external resources available to colleagues and their families who have been affected by pregnancy and baby loss. The Working Parents and Carers Network encourages colleagues to participate in the global Wave of Light tonight at 7.00 pm by lighting a candle in remembrance of all babies who have died too soon. “As part of our Working Parents and Carers Network, I am pleased that we are able to recognise and show support for colleagues that have experienced baby loss at any stage of pregnancy”. Ahead of the Autumn Statement which will be announced later this month, motor dealers have outlined the support measures they need to help their businesses in our latest #ForecourtForesight research. Selected amongst the top three measures, almost seven in ten (69%) dealers would like to see a VAT cut. Almost two-thirds (64%) would like to see additional tax cuts, and 45% say reduced business rates would support their forecourts. At Close Brothers we are proud to celebrate World Mental Health Day and this year’s theme of “It is time to prioritise mental health in the workplace”. This morning our Mental Wellbeing Network, alongside representatives from Aviva, hosted a webinar for colleagues on Aviva Digicare+ Workplace. Aviva Digicare+ Workplace is a comprehensive tool designed to support mental and physical wellbeing in the workplace.  The Aviva team provided colleagues with an overview of what the platform offers and a demonstration on how to use it. “This year, World Mental Health Day is focusing on mental health in the workplace. The Mental Wellbeing Network is shining a light on the importance of recognising and protecting each other from the risks of stress and burnout. Well done to members of our Marketing team for #volunteering at Helping Hands, a community centre based in Edlington, Doncaster. Getting stuck into gardening, the team tidied the surronding boarders of the car park by weeding, cutting back the plants, and collecting rubbish. It was great spending a day away from our desks and supporting the local community.
