🌍🧠 It's World Mental Health Day and this year's theme is "workplace mental health". As a remote-first company, this topic is particularly close to our hearts and we offer a variety benefits to support our team's mental health. 🧡 One of these benefits is wellbeing time: our team members can take half a day each quarter to do something that 'fills their cup'. Today we've been sharing with each other what we enjoy doing for our mental health and wellbeing. Here are some tips from the CloudM team: 🌳Take a walk in nature and think of 3 things I am grateful for ☕ Perch on a bench with a cuppa 📵 Switch off your tech, chat, play, bounce on a trampoline, dance! 🖌️ Draw, paint, and create strange decorations with my 6 year old sister 👟Start the day by going to the gym before work 📸 Scroll through family photos 🥰 Reach out, share, or simply be open to others 🧘🏽 Mindfulness - pause, breathe, and bring yourself back to the present 🗣️ Talk to someone close to you to get how I'm feeling off my chest What do you do to stay happy and healthy?

Our chosen charity this year is Manchester Foundation Trust Charity in support of Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. It is a wonderful charity and we're raising funds for them in a variety of ways. Currently, we're preparing to cheer on our very own Angela Bazzi and Megan Knowles who will be running the Manchester Half Marathon this coming Sunday.
